Every year, devastating hurricanes cause destruction to communities across the US, leaving people in need of help to recover and get through this unexpected hardship. The activity on GoFundMe is often a reflection of what is happening in the world, especially during times of crisis. That’s why we have created this fund – to provide direct relief to the people who need it most when these disasters strike.

A partner fund organized by the Cain, Dryer, and Barnes families are fundraising to send grants directly to those impacted by the devastating Maui wildfires. GoFundMe.org is the beneficiary of this fund to ensure that grants are delivered to the right people.

A partner fund with Hawai‘i locals to benefit the many people in the viral Help Maui Rise spreadsheet. GoFundMe.org is working with the organizers to ensure grants are delivered safely to the many people impacted by the Maui wildfires.

We are working with the Stable Road Foundation, a local Maui Foundation, to process DAF and other donation types and disperse funds raised as grants to other local nonprofits providing aid to the people of Maui in the wake of the tragic wildfires.

It’s here – RAGBRAI’s 50th anniversary. When a few friends got together for a casual bike ride across Iowa in 1973, no one imagined that a tradition would be born, let alone that the Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa would become the longest, largest and oldest recreational bicycle touring event in the world. RAGBRAI is only possible because of the towns across Iowa that open their doors and businesses and send volunteers to serve the ride. This fund was created to say thank you to the cities and towns across Iowa that make RAGBRAI possible. This fund, organized by Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, benefits Flexport.org and Airbnb.org, two organizations that are providing immediate humanitarian aid and housing to Ukrainian refugees.
