Food insecurity in America is an ongoing and growing issue in the United States. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, more than 37 million people struggled to know where their next meal might come from. In the wake of COVID-19, that number rose exponentially. The goal of America’s Food Fund — launched in partnership with Leonardo DiCaprio, Laurene Powell Jobs, Apple, and The Ford Foundation — worked to help ensure that all people have reliable access to food. Over $45 million was raised and delivered to Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, No Kid Hungry, Save the Children, and Urban School Food Alliance. This Fund remains the largest GoFundMe we have ever hosted to date.
