Paris Hilton and GoFundMe.org Announce the “Back in Business Recovery Fund” Launch at the NYSE to Support Female Entrepreneurs on International Women’s Day
For months, a wildfire burned across Australia in record-breaking heat and strong winds, leaving thousands of people displaced, homes burned, and lives lost. Nearly half a billion animals were killed, and a third of their habitat was destroyed. Ellen Degeneres partnered with GoFundMe.org to help the firefighters, people, and animals of Australia who were displaced during the Australian Brush Fire. Over $2.2 million in donations were granted to the Australian Red Cross and WIRES, Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organization.
